Bringing high energy to this cohort of competitors, Joel Palmer brings his hyperactive comedic chops to the skill of carving. Before he started as a professional chainsaw carver eight years ago, he was a man of many trades including a professional musher and zip lining and sea kayaking tour guide.
Redirecting his focus to his chainsaw carving career, Palmer received international recognition, placing in the top three in most competitions. Now with a growing family of his own, he taps into his creativity to always tell a story in the sculptures that he creates.
