The wild blonde-haired carver from Carver Kings, Ryan Cook got his start in carving as an apprentice on the reality television series Saw Dogs. Since then, he’s quickly become one of the world’s top carvers and one of the most recognized names in the world of chainsaw carving.

Currently, Cook carves full-time out of Vancouver, B.C. and competes all over the world. Always trying to push himself, he turned professional in 2013 at the Campbell River Carving Competition, where he took first place. At the same competition in 2017, Cook again received first place along with the People’s Choice Award in the professional category. Cook places in the top spots in several competitions around the world, including the People’s Choice Award at Chetwynd World Championships in 2018.

As the owner of Saw Valley Carvings Inc., Cook spends his time traveling the world, and carving wood, ice, clay, fruit, and vegetables.
