Eva and Trystenne met on social media in 2018 and then in person in 2020 when they both began working at the same all-women gym. They instantly clicked and have been inseparable since.

Trystenne comes from a Jamaican and Trinidadian background. She went to an all-arts high school and majored in dance. The pressure of that industry took a toll on her, but when she found personal training, she realized she wanted to inspire others to love and care for themselves through fitness.

Eva is a first generation Canadian, with both her parents moving to Canada from Ghana, Africa. Similarly, Eva also feels like personal training is her purpose. She began her career in social work supporting individuals affected by homelessness and drug addiction, but it also took a toll on her mental health. When she found fitness, she found another route to help people who are struggling. Her background in social work strengthens her ability to understand what her clients may be going through.

Female empowerment is this duo’s main motivation while running the Race. These two are constantly uplifting women in their community, and they are going to bring their unwavering competitiveness, determination, and drive in order to inspire and represent all women. They specifically want to inspire young, Black girls so they know they can do anything they set their minds to. These two are bringing their humour, energy, and Black Girl Magic to Season 10 of THE AMAZING RACE CANADA.
