These vegan chocolate truffles are rich and luxurious with a decadent chocolate ganache center smothered in dark chocolate. It's the perfect dessert for the holidays (and beyond)!

  • 1 3/4 cups vegan chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 teapsoon vanilla, or other flavoured extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Topping options: cocoa and fleur de sel, crushed candy canes, toasted coconut, sprinkles, and minced nuts

  1. Add chocolate to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Heat the coconut cream to a simmer in the microwave or on the stovetop.
  3. Pour the simmering coconut cream over the chocolate pieces in the mixing bowl and mix.
  4. Place into the fridge to set. This will take approximately two to three hours. You’ll know it’s set when you stick a knife into it and it’s solid all the way down.
  5. Use an ice cream scoop or a spoon to scoop out even amounts of the ganache, and roll it into a ball.
  6. Roll in the toppings of your choice, and transfer to the fridge or freezer to harden until ready to serve.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
