Chinese chicken dumplings with spicy soy



  • 1 pound minced chicken
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 inch finely grated ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 3 tablespoons finely sliced green onions
  • 2 cups finely chopped Napa cabbage
  • 50 wonton wrappers

Dipping sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup Chinese black vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil


  1. Combine all ingredients for dipping sauce in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Combine minced chicken, soy, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, green onion, and napa cabbage in a bowl. Mix to combine.
  3. Place one tablespoon of filling in the middle of each wonton wrapper, and wet the edges of the wrapper. Fold one corner of the wrapper over to meet the other edge, and press to seal. Pleat the edges. Repeat with remaining dumpling wrappers.
  4. Steam for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot with dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
