Instant pot rice pilaf

Rice pilaf may look difficult but by making this recipe using a instant pot - you'll look like a professional chef in no time! 




  • 2 cups white rice or basmati rice
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh herbs finely chopped (i love the combination of parsley, mint and thyme)


  1. Rinse the rice two to three  times under running water,
  2. Place the rice, chicken stock, olive oil and fresh herbs in the insta pot.
  3. Cover and turn on the SEAL function then turn on MANUAL and HIGH and cook for eight minutes. Release the pressure according to the instructions of the machine.
  4. Fluff using a fork, season with additional salt and pepper.
