In a large zipper bag, combine the chicken legs with the olive oil, garlic, herbs, salt, and pepper. Close the bag and shake until the chicken is evenly coated in the seasoning.
Transfer the bag to the refrigerator and allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes but overnight is ideal.
Transfer the chicken to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the chicken reaches a safe internal temperature of 165°F on a meat thermometer.
