Spices of your choice
Whole black or pink peppercorn
Allspice berries, coriander or cardamom pods
Honey or sugar
- Add two parts sweetener (honey or sugar) to 1 part water
- Warm in a small pot over medium-high
- Once incorporated and before boiling, turn off heat.
- Grate fresh ginger, add your favourite spices fresh turmeric root, whole black or pink peppercorn, allspice berries or even coriander or cardamom pods and let it sit to cool, or overnight in the fridge.
- Strain before use.
