24 store bought butter tarts

1.5 cups salted caramel sauce
Maple cheesecake layer

500 g cream cheese, softened (2 bricks of cream cheese)

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups heavy cream
Topping
-
3 cups whipped cream

1/2 cup rum soaked golden raisins

1/2 cup candied pecans

1/2 cup chocolate sauce
Directions
- Begin by making the maple cheesecake layer. Beat softened cream cheese with sugar, maple syrup and salt. Once nicely combined slowly add the heavy cream and beat until smooth. Set aside.
- Cut all but two butter tarts into bite sized pieces.
- To assemble the trifle layer the bottom of the trifle dish with half of the cut up butter tarts.
- Pour 1/2 cup of salted caramel sauce over the butter tarts. Top this with half of the maple cheesecake filling. Repeat these steps once.
- To top the trifle, cover with whipped cream, sprinkle with raisins and pecans, and drizzle with chocolate sauce. Artfully place the remaining two whole butter tarts on top.
