Ingredients
Hummus
1 cup base hummus
1 cup warm cooked chickpeas
Tahini sauce – see recipe below
Lemon vinaigrette – see recipe below
1 jalapeno pepper deseeded and sliced
1 small clove garlic mashed to a paste (pestle and mortar is a great tool)
1/2 cup chopped parsley
Lemon vinaigrette
Juice of 1 lemon - or less if you like less sour
1 chopped jalapeno pepper
1 small clove garlic mashed to a paste (pestle and mortar is a great tool)
1/2 cup flat leaf parsley
Drizzle on 1/4 cup or more extra virgin olive oil
Tahini sauce
1 small clove garlic mashed to a paste (pestle and mortar is a great tool)
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup tahini
1 cup plain full-fat yogurt
Directions
Hummus
Begin with the base hummus, then garnish with whole warm cooked chick peas.
Add the tahini sauce, the dressing of lemon juice, jalapeno pepper, crushed garlic and parley to garnish.
Drizzle olive oil to finish.
Lemon vinaigrette
The lemon vinaigrette is fresh lemon juice, chopped jalapeno pepper, mashed garlic, flat leaf parsley chopped.
Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil.
Tahini sauce
Mix together all ingredients to achieve a creamy pourable sauce.
