Pizza dough

  • 1 cup lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon dry yeast
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  1. In a medium bowl, stir together water, honey and yeast and let rest until mixture is frothy, about 10 minutes.
  2. Stir oil, flour and salt into yeast mixture and work into a smooth dough, then cover bowl with plastic and let dough rise until doubled in size, about one hour.
  3. Cut dough into four portions and roll each piece out on a lightly floured work surface to a quarter-inch thickness.
  4. Grill flatbread over medium heat for two minutes per side. Keep warm until ready to serve.
