Rodney's 'Beer-ful' hot dogs

A creative concoction that is the epitome of a grill food.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups beer
- 1 package full fat cream cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup bacon diced, and cooked
- 2 tablespoon sweet onion, sliced and fried
- 4 hot dogs (OR, you can use your favorite sausage)
- 4 hot dog buns
Directions
- Prepare stovetop to high heat.
- Pour the beer into a pot, and then add hot dogs. Boil for ten minutes.
- Remove hot dogs from beer and place on a grill.
- Grill for another three to four minutes, until you have nice grill marks.
- Reduce beer in pot to one cup. Place back on burner on medium-high heat.
- Add the cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the heated beer.
- Whisk/mix until combined and thickened.
- You can also add two to three tablespoons of bacon into the cheese mixture, if you want to make the sauce extra bacon-y.
- Assemble your beer-dogs:
- Place hot dog on bun.
- Top with generous amount of cheese sauce.
- Top with bacon and fried onions.
- Serve with a cold glass of beer.
