2 cups ripe sliced strawberries
2 cups sparkling wine or soda water
- In mason jar or sealable container, combine strawberries and sparkling wine or soda water. Close lid. Shake gently and place into refrigerator or freezer for 30 minutes.
- Spoon strawberries onto whipped cream and meringue or angel food cake. Serve immediately! Pour strawberry-scented wine or soda water into champagne flutes to serve as an accompaniment or use in a Strawberry Gin Fizz (see recipe).
