This strawberry gin cocktail recipe couldn’t be simpler if it tried. It is essentially a gin and tonic, but without the tonic of course, and instead elevated with added fresh fruitiness of strawberry and a fresh mix of lemon and basil.

Ingredients

2 oz. gin
Juice of one lemon
2 tablespoons strawberry purée
½ oz simple syrup
3 basil leaves, torn
4 oz club soda
2 strawberries, sliced

Directions

To a rocks glass, add 2 oz. gin, juice of one lemon, 2 tablespoons strawberry purée, 1.2 oz. simple syrup. Stir to combine thoroughly.
Fill with ice. Add 3 torn basil leaves and 2 sliced strawberries. Top with 4 oz. club soda. Enjoy.
