Super speedy tortellini soup

Ingredients

  • 8 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 1 pound frozen meat or cheese tortellini
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon pesto, optional

Directions

  1. In a medium pot, bring broth to a boil and add tortellini. 
  2. Simmer on medium until tortellini and cooked according to package directions.  Season with salt and pepper and top with a spoon of pesto, if desired before serving.
