Ingredients

2 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 cup white sesame seeds

3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

3/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons honey

3/4 cup tahini, room temperature
Topping:

2 tablespoons white sesame seeds

2 tablespoons black sesame seeds
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Set rack at middle position. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and ¼ cup white sesame seeds
- In a separate mixing bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together butter, sugar, and honey for four minutes.
- Add half the tahini and beat until combined, then add half of the dry ingredients mixture and beat until combined.
- Repeat with the remaining tahini and dry ingredients. The dough will be very sticky.
- In a small bowl, mix together white and black sesame seeds for topping.
- Scoop out heaping tablespoons of dough and roll between your hands to create dough balls. Dip the dough balls into the sesame seed topping and place onto your parchment-lined baking sheet, sesame seed side up.
- Bake cookies for 14-16 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
