  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup white sesame seeds
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3/4 cup tahini, room temperature

  • 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons black sesame seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Set rack at middle position. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and ¼ cup white sesame seeds
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together butter, sugar, and honey for four minutes.
  4. Add half the tahini and beat until combined, then add half of the dry ingredients mixture and beat until combined.
  5. Repeat with the remaining tahini and dry ingredients. The dough will be very sticky.
