Tomato pasta

  • Fresh pasta noodles (tortellini, penne, etc.)
  • Tomato sauce: fresh or your favourite store bought one
  • Parmesan cheese


  1. Boil water for fresh pasta.  Once boiled, add some of this hot water to your Thermos to ensure it’s warm. Let sit until the pasta is ready. Add fresh pasta to the boiling water and cook for approximately five minutes. Drain, then add back to the pot and pour on the tomato sauce to your taste.  Grate with parmesan cheese, then empty the water in your thermos and add the hot pasta.  Seal immediately and enjoy hot pasta by lunch time.
