Warm Brussels sprouts and bacon

  • 454 grams Brussels sprouts
  • 4 strips of bacon
  • 1/4 cup (60 milliliters) pecans
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Trim and thinly slice Brussel sprouts.
  2. Slice bacon into 1.25 centimeter pieces. Add bacon to skillet, then place over medium heat and fry until bacon is cooked.  A few minutes before the bacon is finished, add pecans to skillet, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add garlic and Brussel sprouts to skillet and sauté for a few minutes. Remove from heat, season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a large bowl or serving platter.
