According to the Alzheimer Society, more than 500,000 Canadians are living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. By 2030, that number is expected to nearly double. Though it used to be considered that those moments of memory loss or Dementia are just what’s to be expected as we age, brain health expert Dr. Mike Dow says there are many ways we can prevent or slow down this devastating disease.
