A great way to do this is by separating your items into office supplies and décor. Having décor on your desk is a simple way to bring you joy throughout the day, as long as you avoid filling your tabletop with knick-knacks.

If you don’t have a desk in your space, find another solution that will work for your situation such as a kitchen island or dining table. If you know you’ll be working from home for the foreseeable future, it might worthwhile to invest in a standing desk or foldable desk that can be used when necessary.

ORGANIZE YOUR ESSENTIALS BY CATEGORY

From pens to notebooks, designate a place for each item to live. If you already have a desk, small drawer units are a small-space solution that can be kept right underneath the tabletop. You can find them at your local home store or dollar store if you’re looking for the most affordable option! If you don’t have the space for a drawer unit, opt for something like floating shelves or boxed organizers.

A magazine file box is a perfect space-saver that be kept almost anywhere! From a bookshelf to a deep drawer, you can place the file box wherever it makes the most sense for you.
