Today is World Kindness Day and together, KIND Snacks and Canadian Blood Services are driving change and encouraging Canadians to do the KIND thing by donating blood. Rodney Bowers did his part to pay it forward and spread some love and awareness around the city of Toronto. KIND Snacks embodies kindness as a core value and hopes to inspire Canadians to do the same, today and every day. Rodney generously made lunch for the entire Marilyn Denis Show office, he visited with puppies at a shelter who needed a little extra love, and visited with a blood donor recipient to find out how the generosity of others can literally save lives. Donating blood is one of the kindest things an individual can do to help someone in need, yet only 4% of eligible donors sustain the Canadian blood system. Canadian Blood Services encourages all eligible donors to join Canada’s Lifeline and make an appointment to donate blood.
