With fall fashion in full swing, now is the perfect time to incorporate something new into your wardrobe. 3 viewers wrote to us wanting to try a specific colour and Style Expert Meredith Shaw worked her magic! She gave them a much-needed colour intervention so they could feel confident and comfortable in something they've always wanted to try.

BOLD WITH RED

After going through an inspiring weight-loss journey, Kathleen needed a new wardrobe but found herself resorting back to hold style habits. She found herself picking out lots of black and navy pieces rather than adding in pops of colours. With dark-tones making up the majority of her closet, Kathleen has been tempted to add bold reds into her wardrobe.

Red is a power colour that has the potential to make you feel fabulous instantly! Whether you're heading to a job interview or on a date, red boldly connotes energy and power. A red jumpsuit is a great way to rock the colour and make a statement. You can also tie touches of red into a neutral outfit by opting for red shoes or even a red lip!

CLASSY WITH COBALT BLUE

As an avid yogi, Laura tends to wear a lot of black athletic clothes. She often goes for pieces that are comfortable and casual but has always wanted to rock cobalt blue. Her biggest fear was where to place the colour in an outfit and how to style it.

Placing bright colour on the bottom of your look is a technique that helps balance the outfit. A pair of intense cobalt blue pants is a great way to tie the bright colour into your wardrobe. This also helps defeat the fear of thinking that the colour doesn't work with your skin tone as it's placed away from your face. Another way to neutralize colour is by adding in a pattern. Cobalt blue patterned with browns and blacks allows you to pull those tones out in the rest of your outfit!

TRENDY WITH NEON YELLOW

The nature of Mary's factory job means that she normally dresses casually. However, she needed post-work outfits that are flirty and fun! We wanted to give Mary a big change from her day time looks so that she can enjoy her evening hangouts in style. With the neon trend in it's prime, she was itching to try bright yellow and we delivered!

When it comes to neon, there's a fine line between divine and tacky. It's a lot easier to rock neon yellow in an athleisure outfit, but that doesn't mean it can't be incorporated into your daily wardrobe. Neon accessories are a great way to baby step into the trend. If you're ready to take things one step further, chucky neon knits are huge for fall! If you do decide to add a pop of neon into your wardrobe, try to keep the rest of your outfit neutral.
