The holidays are right around the corner and you may be getting into the spirit by booking family photoshoots for that perfect Christmas card or hosting micro-events with family and friends! To get yourself merry and bright for any occasion this season, beauty expert Afia Agyeman shared three amazing makeup looks inspired by this year's red carpet!

Anya Taylor Joy-inspired look

Actress Anya Taylor-Joy is partial to a statement-making hair and makeup look. From red carpets to zoom, her award show looks have been on point this year, so why not go for an eye and lip look inspired by her?

This is a classic look anyone can wear. Use the Charlotte Tilbury Nudegasm highlighter palette and go in with the cool brown colour in the crease to softly start the base. Then apply the satin champagne colour on the lid for a soft wash of colour. To make the eyes pop even more, generously apply mascara all over the lash, using something like the Revlon X Megan Thee Stallion. Then to tie the whole look together, go for a statement on the lips using the long-lasting and matte Charlotte Tilbury red lip liner in the colour 'Walk of Shame.'

Yara Shahidi-inspired look

Yara Shahidi is many things: an actress, an activist, and also the reason why we invested in multiple highlighters since she arrived on the red carpet scene in an attempt to replicate her covetable glow! She's also not afraid to play with colours, which we love!

When it comes to makeup, many of us stray away from using colour, but this Yara-inspired look will be a subtle and easy way to introduce it into your holiday makeup routine. Using the Holiday Vibes palette from Sephora, go in with the toasty brown in the crease of your eyelid, and then use the shimmering olive green to the whole lid.

Use the Cheek to Chic blush from Charlotte Tilbury for a pop of colour to the apple of your cheek. And lastly to complete the look, use this beautiful yet subtle gloss by Revlon in the colour Natural Nude. This gloss will keep your pout hydrated all night long!

Katy Perry-inspired look

Katy Perry has definitely wowed us with her edgy style and incredible makeup looks. She is definitely not afraid to make a big statement when it comes to her beauty. This Katy Perry-inspired look is gorgeous snd understated but has all the drama!

Use the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow quad and start with the chocolate brown colour to anchor down the eye shape. Then go in with gold and rose mix on the eyelid, using a patting motion to get the most out of the pigment. To make the eyes stand out even more, add a light champagne tone to the brown to get a gorgeous speak of light.

Now for the drama—aka fake eyelashes! Apply the bigger pair of lashes from the House of Lashes collection with Sephora to get the bombshell look we're going for.

Add a pop of colour to the cheeks with the Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic blush. And to round out the look, use the Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the colour 'Runway Royalty,' and you will definitely be feeling like a queen!
