Brazilian Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 limes, washed, ends trimmed, and quartered (skin left on)
  • 1 litre of cold water
  • 1 can (300ml) condensed milk
  • 4 cups ice

Directions

  1. Place the quartered limes and water into a blender. Blend on medium for about 5 seconds. If you overblend it it will become too bitter.
  2. Strain the lime water through a sieve, into another pitcher. Press the limes to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the lime bits.
  3. Pour the lime water back into the blender. Add the condensed milk and 4 cups of ice. Blend on medium for about 8-10 seconds until well combined, creamy and frothy.
  4. Serve with a wedge of lime.

Tips

  1. Add an ounce of dark rum or coconut rum for an adult beverage.
