Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons room temperature butter, divided
- 2 thick slices of meatloaf
- 4 slices thick cut sandwich bread
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- Mayonnaise, ketchup, or whatever sauces or toppings you’d like
Directions
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add in 1 tablespoon of butter. Add in the meatloaf slices, cut side down, and fry until lightly golden on both sides. Set aside.
- Wipe out the pan and spread the remaining butter over one side of each slice of bread. Fry the bread, butter side down, in the pan until golden.
- Build the sandwiches with the griddled side of the bread on the outside with cheese and whatever sauces or toppings you’d like.
