Ingredients
- ---FOR THE CINNAMON VANILLA SYRUP---
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- ½ vanilla bean, split in half
- ---FOR THE COCKTAIL---
- ½ cup pomegranate juice
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbsp orgeat syrup
- ½ tbsp cinnamon vanilla syrup (above)
- ½ tsp aromatic or orange bitters
- ¼ tsp cocktail foamer
- Ice
- 1 maraschino cherry, to garnish
Directions
- Cinnamon Vanilla Syrup: Place all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer until reduced by half. Let cool, then transfer to a clean glass jar to store (no need to strain). This syrup will keep in the fridge for about 1 week.
- Cocktail: Place the pomegranate juice, lemon juice, orgeat syrup, cinnamon vanilla syrup, bitters and cocktail foamer in a shaker and dry shake for about 30 seconds. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for a minute or two until the shaker turns frosty.
- Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
