Ingredients
Sorrel Concentrate:
- 2 cups dried sorrel (hibiscus) flowers
- 10 cups water
- 20 whole cloves
- 2 cups sugar
- Fresh ginger, sliced (optional)
To Serve:
- Ice
- Soda water
- Lime wedges
- Fresh mint
Directions
- Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the sorrel flowers, cloves, sugar, and ginger (if using).
- Stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Remove from heat and allow to steep for at least 1 hour.
- Strain and chill.
To Serve:
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in the chilled sorrel concentrate.
- Top with soda water.
- Garnish with lime and mint.
