The Dirty Creamsicle (Monica Carbonell)

Jess’ Dirty Soda: The Dirty Creamsicle

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 0.5 oz Coconut Cream
  • 3 oz Brio

To Garnish:

  • Mint
  • Dehydrated Pineapple Wheel
  • Coconut chips or flakes

Directions

  1. Fill your float glass with ice.
  2. Pour in juices and Brio, then top with coconut cream.
  3. Garnish with mint, dehydrated pineapple wheel, and coconut.
Velvet Fizz (Monica Carbonell)

Cyn’s Dirty Soda: Velvet Fizz

Ingredients

  • 1 Big Spoonful of Raspberry Jam – approximately 3 tbsp
  • 1/3 cup Almond Cream (recipe below)
  • 0.5 oz Lime Juice
  • Fresh Raspberries
  • 2 oz Sparkling Water

Directions

  1. In a shaker (or mason jar), add in a handful of ice, almond cream, fresh raspberries, lime juice and raspberry jam.
  2. Shake well until the jam has completely dissolved into the liquid.
  3. Dump the contents into your float glass.
  4. Top with ice and sparkling water.
  5. Stir to combine.

To Make the Almond Cream:

  • 0.25 cup Almonds (roughly chopped)
  • 2 cups 10% Cream (Half and Half)

In a small saucepan over med-high heat, add chopped almonds and allow the, to toast up a bit until fragrant (1-2 minutes). Add in cream and stir often until it comes to a simmer. Lower heat and allow this to simmer for 4 minutes before straining through a fine mesh strainer. Let it come to room temperature before storing into the fridge. Can last up to 10 days.

Mel’s Dirty Soda: Lime After Time

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Crab Apple Sweetened Sauce (recipe below)
  • 1 oz Coconut Cream
  • 4 oz Diet Coke
  • ¼ oz Lime Juice

Directions

  • Fill glass with ice.
  • Add in apple sauce, Diet Coke and lime juice.
  • Give this a stir before topping with coconut cream.

To Make the Crab Apple Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Crab Apples (Roughly chopped with seeds removed)
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar

Instructions:

To a medium saucepan, add in all ingredients over med-high heat and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5-8 minutes until the apples have completely broken down. Blend all the contents and let this come to room temperature before storing into the fridge. Lasts up to 1 week.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Fresh Mango (diced) *Optional for added flavour
  • 1 oz Mango Juice
  • 1.5 oz Ginger Beer
  • 0.5 oz Ting Grapefruit Soda
  • 1 oz Almond Cream (recipe below)
  • Grapefruit Wheel for Garnish

Directions

  1. Muddle diced mango in the bottom of the float glass.
  2. Add ice.
  3. Add in the rest of the ingredients with the cream added last.
  4. Stir to combine.
  5. Garnish with grapefruit wheel.
