Lavender for Luck

Lavender for Luck

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Cachaca (Albeha Cachaca used here)
  • 2 oz Lime Juice
  • 2 oz Orange Juice
  • 2 oz Peach Nectar
  • 2 oz Lavender Honey Syrup
  • 3.5 oz Coconut Cream (20%)
  • 3 Sprigs Sage
  • 3 Sprigs Lavender

Directions

Lavender Honey Syrup

  1. Combine 0.5 cup Honey with 0.5 cup boiled water into a mason jar filled with Lavender Sprigs (fresh lavender will need about 5 large sprigs, dried lavender will be about 3 sprigs). Stir to combine. Let it sit at room temperature before storing into the fridge. Can last up to a week in the fridge. Lavender can stay in longer if you want the notes to be more pronounced.

Cocktail

  1. In a bowl, pour your coconut cream and set aside.
  2. In a spouted container, add in your cachaca, lime, orange, peach and lavender honey syrup, stir to combine.
  3. Pour the cocktail mix into the bowl of coconut cream. Place a cover over top and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (up to 24 hrs max).
  4. Using a coffee filter, pour the bowl mix and let this slowly filter through. This will take time. Let it drip on your counter until it is ready.
  5. When ready to serve, pour the filtered cocktail into a Collins glass with clear ice, with a single sprig of sage and lavender.
