Every morning, CTV Your Morning runs greetings and well wishes from people all across Canada. If you want to take part and send us a Good Morning—we’d love to hear it! It can be in any language, from any part of this country.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Say your name and where you are!
- Shoot your video outside, somewhere pretty if possible
- In your own words, say good morning and wish people a great day.
Here are some examples of what you can say:
- “Good morning, Canada! I’m Sue in Hamilton, Ontario and I hope you have a wonderful day!”
- Hi Canada! I’m Bob. And I’m Fred! We’re in Sydney, Nova Scotia and we hope you have a really good day! Good morning everyone!"
You’ll need:
- A mobile device capable of filming in HD
- Ideally, a microphone that connects to it. Airpods make great microphones. Also a pair of wired headphones with a built-in mic work in a pinch and can often be hidden in hair or clothing.
- If not, ensure that you are within 2-3 feet of the recording device. You’ll be relying on the built-in camera mic and the farther you are, the poorer the quality.
- Make sure you shoot your video horizontally, not vertically!
