Ojibwe man becomes a writer for Vogue to promote inclusion in the fashion world

For years, Christian Allaire didn’t see himself or his culture in fashion spaces. Now, he’s sharing his story in a new book, ‘Power of Style’.

Christian Allaire has had a lifelong passion for fashion, but he spent years not seeing himself or his Indigenous culture in fashion spaces. So - he took matters into his own hands by becoming a fashion and style writer for Vogue, and by writing a new book! 

He joined us to discuss 'Power of Style', including why he dedicated it to those who that didn't feel seen or heard growing up.
