It might seem like
physical distancing has made it impossible to take a dance class right now, but
The National Ballet of Canada (NBC) is trying to change that. Despite cancelling the rest of its spring/summer season and a tour in Ottawa, the ballet started hosting virtual dance classes for the public through Instagram live. Held multiple days a week, the classes are hosted on The National Ballet of Canada’s and In Studio's respective Instagram accounts.https://www.instagram.com/p/B-cpGUPgZ0S/Although they're not in studio, the ballet is continuing classes and training for its professional dancers. Every morning there is a company class through Zoom, three days a week they have a virtual pilates class, and twice a week they have training with their physiotherapist.https://www.instagram.com/p/B-ctBf8A795/Ever dreamed of performing ballet?
