What is the minimum age requirement?

Applicants must be at least nineteen (19) years of age to apply.

Do I need to be a Canadian Citizen? 

You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.

When will I find out if I make it onto the show?

If your application makes it to the next round you will be contacted by our Casting Team by phone or email between July - September 2023 

Will I be contacted regardless of whether or not I make it to the next round?

Due to the large amount of submissions, we are unable to contact each applicant. Only applicants moving forward will be contacted.

Is there a cost to submit an application?

No.  There is no fee to submit an application.  However any expenses you incur during the application process (e.g. preparation of video recording, photos, etc.) are your sole responsibility. 

When will Farming for Love be filmed?

The tentative schedule sees the show filming in summer/fall 2023. Participants will need to be available from early September until late October 2023 (to be determined by Producer in its sole discretion) to participate.

If I opt to make a video, do I need to have a professional video made?

No.  Videos are not required.  However, if you choose to submit a video you can make your own video with the help of your friends and family or with your smartphone or web camera. Please ensure your video does not include background music of any kind. 

I am not able to upload my video, are there any special requirements to do so?

Please ensure your video and photos combined are less than 75MB. The video needs to be in one of the following file formats: mpg, mpeg, flv, avi, mp4, mov, 3gp, wmv, mv4.
