What is the minimum age requirement?
Applicants must be 19 years of age by April 1st 2024 to apply.
Do I need to be a Canadian Citizen?
You must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
When will I find out if I have been selected to participate in the next round of the casting process for the race?
Applicant teams who have been selected to advance in the casting process will be contacted no later than February 2024.
Will I be contacted regardless of whether or not I make it to the next round?
Due to the large number of applications we receive, it is not possible to reply to all applicants individually, so we will not be able to respond to inquiries about your status as an applicant. We will only attempt to contact those applicants who are selected to move forward to the next round of the casting process.
Is there a cost to submit an application?
NO. There is no fee to submit an application. You will never be asked to pay a fee to audition or apply for The Amazing Race Canada.
When do they film the show?
This season of the Race will be filmed in Spring 2024.
If I applied for previous seasons of The Amazing Race Canada, will my old application be considered for the following season?
NO. You will need to record a NEW VIDEO and submit a NEW APPLICATION for Season 10.
Can I apply more than once, with several different teammates?
You can submit applications with as many DIFFERENT teammates as you wish.
Do I need a professional video made?
NO. You can make your own video with the help of your friends and family or you can just make your video on your smartphone or web camera. You can also record your video directly on the application site if you choose, within the time constraints provided.
Just remember we want to see BOTH members of the team in the same video, and only one video can be submitted per application.
I am not able to upload my video, are there any special requirements to do so?
Please ensure your video is 100MB or less and in one of the following file formats: mpg, mpeg, flv, avi,mp4, mov, 3gp, wmv, mv4. If you are having any technical difficulties with your video upload, please contact casting@insighttv.com for assistance.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL DAYS OF THE CASTING CALL TO ASK FOR HELP!
Am I allowed to post my video publicly on YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, TikTok or other sites?
NO. Due to the confidential nature of the series, you must keep your application video private. If you are selected as one of the teams competing on season ten of The Amazing Race Canada, you will not be allowed to publicly announce your status until a date determined by Bell Media Inc. Teams MAY BE DISQUALIFIED for breaching confidentiality.
What if I have questions about the Online Agreement and Release?
Please be sure to read the Online Agreement and Release in full before submitting your application. If you have specific questions please consult legal counsel at your own expense.
