Banana bread trifle

Layers of banana bread, vanilla pudding and caramel sauce to bring you all the fall goodness this Thanksgiving. 



  • 1.5 cups 35% whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 4 cups cubed banana bread
  • 3 bananas, cut into 1/4 inch rounds
  • 3 cups prepared vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 cups wafer cookies


  1. Whisk whipping cream, and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish, layer half the banana bread. Press half the banana rounds around the perimeter of the dish, and fill the center. Spread half of the vanilla pudding over the bananas in an even layer. 
  3. Then drizzle the caramel sauce along the edge of the glass to form a nice pattern, and drizzle the rest over the pudding. Top with crushed Nilla wafers and half the whipped cream.
  4. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients. Garnish with whole Nilla wafers and extra caramel sauce.
  5. Refrigerate for up to one hour before serving. Enjoy!
