Brussels sprouts and bacon slaw


  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and thinly sliced in processor
  • 3 strips of maple smoked bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper


  1. Combine maple syrup, dijon mustard, buttermilk, olive oil and apple cider vinegar for dressing in a jar and shake to blend thoroughly. 
  2. Add sliced Brussels sprouts to a large bowl and pour dressing over top.  Toss well until thoroughly coated.  Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. 
  3. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon just before serving. Enjoy!
