Ginger chestnut sour

A delightful combination of some scotch and nuttiness, paired with some warm winter ginger root and chestnuts.

Ingredients
- 1 oz scotch
- 0.5 oz sweet vermouth
- 0.25 oz chestnut liquer
- 0.25 oz ginger syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, add scotch, vermouth, ginger syrup, chestnut syrup and lemon juice.
- Add enough ice to cover the liquid in the shaker, plus a bit more.
- Cover and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain into a 12-ounce rocks glass. Garnish with a ginger slice. Enjoy!
