Spiced apple martini

Who doesn’t love a good apple martini? This one, however, is full of fall flavours and different from the bright green liqueur-heavy version we were used to making famous in the 90s. Using rye, apple cider, maple syrup, lemon, and cinnamon is sure to be a crowd pleaser and perfect aperitif before a dinner sipper.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz rye
  • 0.75 oz apple cider
  • 0.75 oz maple syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice

Directions

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add rye, apple cider, maple syrup and lemon juice. Add enough ice to cover the liquid in the shaker, plus a bit more.
  2. Cover and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds. 
  3. Strain into a martini glass.
  4. Garnish with slices of apple and shaved cinnamon. Enjoy!
