Spiced apple martini

Who doesn’t love a good apple martini? This one, however, is full of fall flavours and different from the bright green liqueur-heavy version we were used to making famous in the 90s. Using rye, apple cider, maple syrup, lemon, and cinnamon is sure to be a crowd pleaser and perfect aperitif before a dinner sipper.

Ingredients
- 1.5 oz rye
- 0.75 oz apple cider
- 0.75 oz maple syrup
- 1 oz lemon juice
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, add rye, apple cider, maple syrup and lemon juice. Add enough ice to cover the liquid in the shaker, plus a bit more.
- Cover and shake vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Strain into a martini glass.
- Garnish with slices of apple and shaved cinnamon. Enjoy!
