Grilled Miami-style short ribs

Grilled saucy ribs will have you coming back for more. 


  • 2 lbs Miami-style short ribs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 tsblespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemongrass, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, fresh and finely chopped
  • Finely chopped parsley, for sprinkling
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Fresh limes, for squeezing


  1. In a large mixing bowl make your marinade by whisking together the yogurt, olive oil, soy sauce, honey, paprika, sriracha, lemongrass, garlic, and ginger.  Add your short ribs to coat and allow them to marinate for at least two hours. 
  2. When ready to grill, remove the beef from the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature.  Grill on medium-high for two to three minutes, then flip and cook for another two to three minutes - seasoning with salt on each side as you cook. 
  3. Remove and garnish with fresh herbs, sesame seeds, and limes for squeezing. 
  4. Serve with a side of rice and some veg, enjoy!
