The Sbagliato cocktail was invented after a new young bartender was trying to make a negroni cocktail for an important client – a politician but by mistake, he used prosecco instead of gin. His boss tried to fire him but the client loved the drink so much it was given a name – the Sbagliato – aka the mistake.

Ingredients

Prosecco
Vermouth
Campari
Lime wedge, for garnish

Directions

Pour Prosecco into an ice-filled large wine glass.
Add a splash of vermouth and a splash of Campari. Gently stir together, and garnish with a lime wheel. Serve and enjoy!
