Kitchen Sink Cookies Three Ways!

These cookies are packed with a variety of mix-ins, making them a fun and delicious treat for everyone.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
  • 3 cups of “add-ins”, separated

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix.
  4. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and oats and mix again until just combined.
  5. Split dough into three bowls. Now the fun begins!
  6. You can add 1 cup of Add-ins to each bowl.
  7. Scoop 1/4 cup of dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing about 1 inch apart. Press down slightly.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes, until bottoms are browned. Enjoy!

    Bowls:
  • Bowl One, Sweet & Salty: 
  • 1/2 cup pretzels, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chunks
  • Top with flaky salt

    Bowl Two, Bird Seed:
  • 1 cup of trail mix-dried fruit, nuts, seeds, and chocolate

    Bowl Three, “Berried” Treasure:
  • I added 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the dough and stuffed each cookie with a tsp of jam
  • Top with a sprinkle of rolled oats
