An Italian-inspired coffee dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops gelato or ice cream, vanilla bean, chocolate, or coffee flavoured
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong black coffee
  • Freshly grated nutmeg, optional

Directions

  1. Set out two glasses and place a scoop of ice cream in each. Pour over the hot espresso or black coffee and top with a grating of fresh nutmeg, if desired.
  2. Serve immediately with small spoons. Enjoy!
