Avocado chocolate pudding


  • 4 large, ripe avocados
  • 2/3 cup (160 milliliters) cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup (160 milliliters) honey
  • 1/2 cup (120 milliliters) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 milliliters) vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.5 milliliters) salt
  • 1/2 cup toasted sweetened shredded coconut, to garnish


  1. Remove pit from avocados and scoop flesh into a blender. Add cocoa powder, honey, milk, vanilla and salt to the blender.
  2. Blitz until thick and creamy, adjusting thickness with more milk if needed.
  3. Pour into four small serving dishes. Divide toasted coconut among four servings.
