Big bad beer cheese

A unique recipe for the perfect summer party.

Ingredients
- 340 grams extra sharp shredded cheddar cheese,
- 1/2 cup soft whipped cream cheese
- 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 bottle honey brown beer
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 clove garlic smashed
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (your favourite kind will do!)
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Add the beer, cream, garlic, hot sauce, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce into a pot on medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer while whisking.
- Toss the cheddar and cornstarch together in a separate bowl then whisk into the simmering liquid.
- When the cheddar has completely melted, whisk in the cream cheese and season with salt if needed. Add the chives and serve!
