Ingredients
340 grams extra sharp shredded cheddar cheese,
1/2 cup soft whipped cream cheese
1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1 bottle honey brown beer
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 clove garlic smashed
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon hot sauce (your favourite kind will do!)
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Add the beer, cream, garlic, hot sauce, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce into a pot on medium heat. Bring to a gentle simmer while whisking.
Toss the cheddar and cornstarch together in a separate bowl then whisk into the simmering liquid.
When the cheddar has completely melted, whisk in the cream cheese and season with salt if needed. Add the chives and serve!
