Black eyed peas hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked Black eyed peas
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1-1/2 tablespoon Tahini
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Berbere spice

Directions

  1. In a blender or food processor add all of the ingredients and pulse until you achieve a smooth texture.
  2. Top with Berbere spice and olive oil and serve with crackers.
