Breakfast martini

Created in the 90’s by Italian bartender Salvatore Calabrese at London’s swish Lanesborough Hotel, he named this cocktail the Breakfast Martini so due to the marmalade infusion. Here we take the theme one step further using Madison Park Breakfast Gin. 

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. (45 ml) Madison Park Breakfast Gin
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Apérol (or favourite aperitif)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) orange marmalade
  • Half a fresh lemon juiced
  • 1 egg white (optional; vegans can also use vegan foamer found in specialty stores or aquafaba)
  • Lemon wheel

Directions

  1. In a shaker filled with ice shake until cold. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a round shaped lemon zest
