David Rocco’s chickpea crisps

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chickpeas
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 4 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. In a bowl, season chickpeas with brown sugar, salt, paprika and curry powder. Add olive oil. Mix until chickpeas are coated and all ingredients are combined. Place coated chickpeas on a baking tray. Put in the oven at 350 degrees, and bake for at least one hour, or until crispy and golden. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes before eating.
