Doggy cake

This recipe is intended to be a treat for your pups!
Ingredients
CAKE
- 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup natural smooth peanut butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
ICING
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions
CAKE
- Preheat your oven to 350F.
- Grease and flour two 6" round baking pans. Set aside.
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl then set aside.
- Whisk together wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Slowly add dry mixture while continuously stirring. A stand or hand mixer can be used.
- Once all of the ingredients are well combined, divide evenly into the two baking pans and bake for 30 minutes or until you are able to insert a toothpick in the center without any residue.
- Let cool in the pans for at least ten minutes before transferring to the cooling rack.
ICING
- While cake is baking, combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl (again, a hand or stand mixer can be used).
- Keep refrigerated until you are ready to frost.
