Ingredients
STEAK

1 1/2 pounds (680 g) flank steak
MARINADE

1/2 cup (120 ml) oil

1 hot pepper, minced

1 small onion, thinly sliced

¼ cup (60 ml) parsley, chopped

¼ cup (60 ml) oregano, finely chopped

1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) crushed chili flakes
-
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt

1 lime, juiced
Directions
MARINADE
- In a bowl whisk together oil, hot pepper, onion, parsley, oregano, chili flakes, salt, lime juice.
- In a zip lock bag, combine marinade and steak.
- Seal and chill overnight.
STEAK
- Preheat a grill to high heat.
- Grill steak for six minutes on each side turning every three minutes to create a cross hatch pattern.
- Remove from grill and let rest for five to ten minutes.
- Thinly slice steak across the grain and serve.
