Grilled plum sundaes with a ginger pistachio crumble
Ingredients
- 6 ripe plums, pitted and cut in half
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup ginger snap cookies, crushed
- 1/2 cup pistachios, chopped
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 2 pints of vanilla ice cream
Directions
- To a bowl add crushed ginger snap cookies, chopped pistachios, rolled oats, brown sugar, melted butter and salt. Set aside.
- Per-heat BBQ to medium high heat. Brush each plum with some honey and grill for about five minutes. Set aside.
- To make the sundaes, scoop the vanilla ice cream into a bowl, top with grilled plums and ginger pistachio crumble. Enjoy!
